Miniature video technology allows you to view live colour video footage as well as audio of nesting activity taking place within an Eshwood bird box.

Eshwood Bird Box Cams are educational as well as fascinating. They provide hours of rewarding and entertaining viewing for people of all ages as well as offering vital nesting sites for a range of garden birds. As many as 60 different species of British birds nest in boxes so why not make space for nature and help with the housing shortage.

Our unique design actually allows high quality colour video and audio to be viewed live on your T.V without the need for any artificial illumination within the nest box. Unlike other systems, Eshwood Bird Box Cams actually use ambient light to provide illumination. Other manufactures rely on electric lights or torch bulbs inside the nesting boxes to allow their video system to operate. Nor do we use infra red cameras which give a grainy black and white picture. We have researched and designed the Eshwood Bird Box Cam to make artificial illumination unnecessary as it is our belief that randomly switching a light on and off may well disturb nesting birds and cause them to abandon a nest.

Eshwood Bird Box Cams are supplied fully set up and come pre focused for optimum viewing quality and are designed to simply plug in and view.

Not only will you be helping garden wildlife but you will also be helping to conserve natural woodland resources. Eshwood Bird Box Cams are also fully weather proof and are supplied pre treated with a Non Toxic timber preservative which is harmless to animal and plant life. Interiors however are not treated.
